There are three pages of posts about SBS and ADNM.

Can we get a link to the avast best practices for installing SBS Suite to an SBS Server and managed clients? The information on this process is hard to find.

It seems like others have broken MSDE and/or IIS in the install process. We’d like to avoid that. ;D

Might I suggest this is made a sticky post as well.

avast! SBS Suite is not a special program, it’s a special way to pay for your license of avast! antivirus programs when you are in a Microsoft SBS environment.

avast! SBS Suite give you licenses for you MS SBS Server and the clients (XP/Vista). In the same way that when you buy MS SBS Server you must pay for the customers CALs.

If you buy avast! SBS Suite you can install avast! products in two environments:

  • Standalone: you can install avast! SBS Server Edition in your Server and avast! Professional Edition in yours clients (XP/Vista).
  • Network Management: You can install avast! Distributed Network Manager (ADNM).
