SBS2008 and BP+

Hello All,

I am trying to install BP+ on a new SBS2008 server with protection for 7 users.

After a bit of trouble with SQL 2008 I finally have it installed, issue I now have is with the console. If I try to open it I get security settings are preventing Active X controls on this site and I get a notification to install Siverlight which is already installed. I can not figure out how to change my settings to allow the active X.

What is the way around this, I assume I need to deploy the server antivirus from the console but as I can’t get into it I am stuck.

Any help would be appreciated.

1, try to go to <SBC_URL>/avast/service.aspx
it will create “unsecured(no https)” connection to the admin console

2, are you able to get to the admin console from other computer in your network?

3, you can try to get there also from FF on the server as the IE runs in some secure mode :wink:
