Scan completed MBAM logs attached

Hi,

I’ve just completed the initial scan using MBAM and the ‘logs to assist in cleaning malware’ topic says to post the results which are attached.

Many thanks

And here are the logs that have been generated from the FRST

Many thanks

And here is the aswmbr log files, apologies if I was meant to complete all of the steps before posting the all logs together.

Many thanks

Thanks for your assistance.

I dont think i was experiencing any performance issues (well none that i noticed anyway) as such, just that on booting up my laptop i keep getting alerts saying “threats have been detected” but when i performed scans on avast it said no issues found. same when i open internet exlporer, popus from Avast keep coming up saying threats detected.

I am guessing that the alerts have now ceased. AdwCleaner will remove any bits I missed

They have indeed, thank you very much!! ;D ;D

The log file for adwcleaner has also been attached

Would it be a good idea for me to keep the applications that I’ve downloaded in case I ever need them for the future?

Not really as the tools are regularly updated

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Remove tools

Download and run Delfix

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:

CryptoPrevent install this programme to lock down and prevent crypto ransome ware

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/CryptoPrevent.JPG

Malwarebytes.

Update and run weekly to keep your system clean

Unchecky

Click on the link above to be taken to Unchecky.com
click the very large Download button.
click Save
Click Open folder
Right click on the Unchecky_setup and choose to Run as Administrator
Once open click the Install button.
Then click on Finish
Unchecky is now installed and will help you keep unwanted check boxes unchecked, this is a fire and forget programme

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.

Fantastic!! ;D ;D

once again many thanks for your assistance and i’ll keep on eye on my laptop to make sure the problem doesn’t reoccur and also download the extra help tools you suggested

Have a great day!!
