Scan in Avast screensaver?

Hi!

I have started to use the Avast screensaver because it looks nice.
However I don’t understand what the box with changing files does.
It looks like a virus scan to me.

What is the box in the screensaver where my files are being shown?

Okey, I understand. I have read some in the thread you linked to.
There is one thing I wonder still, though. My pc have very short
periods when the screen saver is running. So I wonder if Avast
can have any good scans therefore.

Does Avast begin a new scan every time the screensaver goes on
or does it continue on the next screensaver-scan til it has finished
scanning everything?

It picks up where it left off so all files will get scanned
