we have two desk tops, one is wireless(this one) and 3-4 other wireless devices. I checked all of them so this problem is only on my desk top. not sure if this is a virus or just a settings problem. but over the last week or so IE has slowed to a point where pages take minutes to load. I had to run all scans with browser open on this site for fear that I would not be able to get back on it or not, hope that doesn’t mess up the scan log results. hopefully you can help me or point me to a site that could. thanks
Nothing showing so lets try a basic clean first

I believe that did the trick. I opened on home page quickly, then opened another tab and loaded a youtube movie vid no problem, then opened 3 more tabs all running youtube movie vid s at the same . all loaded quickly and without shuttering. then another tab with facebook open and clicked many pages on there at the same time all the movies were playing. all facebook pages loaded quickly… think that got it. how does those logs look to you?
It looks like the web cache was a bit full
Run it for another day and then let me know how it is
oh man, it ran good all last night. just got home from work (4:00 eastern) and its right back to super slow motion. I left it on over night so nothing has been changed, no shut down or boot up…
ok ran slow for 45 minutes and now it blasting through the net like it was last night after the fix. I checked the main desktop and its running fine. all wireless looks good and showed full signal on my desktop. but its running like a mad dog now. I’ll watch it for a day or so. I’m thinking if it keeps doing this, slow start then runs good after awhile. it could be a background program just taking its time to finish starting sucking up the cpu power maybe. just a thought!
When it slows down quickly open task manager and see what is running
