Scan logs repeatedly appearing in SOA

Seven MS Outlook email files were flagged on a client computer about a week ago. In the scan log section under reports on my SOA console, I noticed thousands of pages of scan logs just repeating these 7 threats. More concerned about the threats themselves, I ignored this and went to clean the client computer; I was able to remove the files, and the new scans which have happened since are not detecting anything. The problem is that my SOA console is still receiving thousands of pages worth of these 7 virus detection alerts. I erased all scan logs from the client computer, thinking this may help, but it did not. I deleted all scan logs from the SOA console just before starting this post, and now there are already over 200 of these in my scan log. How do I eliminate them permanently?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

UPDATE: This appears to be an issue with Outlook. I had another workstation also flag a couple Outlook emails, and these, too, have been successfully removed, but they are still generating thousands of scan log entries. I currently have somewhere close to 100,000 scan logs piling up, and I have absolutely no idea how to stop this. I really like using the scan log section to check on things daily; it allows me to quickly identify certain common false positives without having to sit in front of the workstation; however, with this many logs, sorting the list often crashes SOA. Has no one else encountered this issue?
