Hello, I am wondering if you can advise me the correct way to handle this: after scans I will access the scan log and apply the recommend task, however I quite often notice that there are ‘files that could not be scanned’ The most recent log listed several and all were in the avast sandbox. Is this correct, should I delete them or perform some other action? Thank you very much!
files that can not be scanned…for reason give by avast…are just that, it does not mean they are infected
avast is just giving you a scan error report…and it is normal to have some files that can not be scanned
this is the most frequently asked question in the forum, so a ton of info if you search
avast is a antivirus program, so the only files of interest are infected files an it will only take action on infected files
