Hello to all and may I be the first to say a verry Merry Christmas to all .
My question is this avast proposes in the scan section an option scan pup turn on or turn off i.e for scan for windows explorer and several other options .Concerning all the options all had this pup option turned off !!!
Should I turn this option on or leave it be

Best not to modify any of the default setting’s until you get familiar with the program, i do have pups turned on in my machine but that is the only thing i changed from default. Some people have had pups falsely detect programs on there computer’s but so far so good for me.
I have also turned it on because it detected a professional keylogger that otherwise won’t be detected.
Thanks guys I ran a boot time scan and nothing was found so I think I will leave all the pup scans switched on
