Scan result reports Avast turned off in Chrome but its not

I just installed Version 6.1.3 on my LG G5 and ran a scan.

The completed scan result said there was one risk - that Avast Mobile Security was turned off in my Chrome browser. I checked that setting and I found that it was already turned on. I decided to temporarily turn it off then turn it back on, but that did not resolve. A vast Mobile app still reports that the setting is turned and its still an unresolved risk.

Seems like a bug in the Version 6.1.3.

Hi, it seems some app keeps killing the Avast Mobile Security (AMS) running in the background - when it happens, AMS loses “Accessibility permission”, which makes the Chrome protection stop working.

Most probably you use some power saving mode or a task killer app, or you have disabled the AMS permanent notification (in Settings > Notifications). Please check these and let me know, if the problem persists, thanks.

I also facing the same problem…why the chrome protection is not turned on while accessibility setting is turned on??? please help

Hi ubhatta97, are you using any power saving mode or app I mentioned before?

No i am not use any power saving mode or app and this problem arise in last week…

Ok then, please try this:

  • go to your device´s settings
  • select “General” section in settings
  • select “Battery & Power saving”
  • make sure the “Battery saving” is either turned off or set to run when the battery is for example 15% (of course the battery power must be over this)

Let me know, whether it helps, thanks.
