After a scan I get a list of files. On top it says : Some files could not be scanned. What I’m really interested in is this sentence ; Select the required action for each result and click apply . There’s no where to click , there’s nothing I can do.

There's no where to click , there's nothing I can do.bc it is not a detection, just a scan error message. avast is a antivirus program and will only take action on infected files when infected files are found they are given a malware name

depending on where they are located / what files they are you can do whatever you want … but they are not infections as is, just a scan error message and the reason why … avast will in the same message tell you why it cant scan them
