I am running avast free version 6.0.1367 on windows 7. I have set up for daily scan at 4AM and to wake up system if in sleep mode. First day after setting up it scanned at 4AM. The next day and every day after it does not scan until I log in to computer. Is there a reason why it does not scan as scheduled? I put the computer in sleep mode every night. Please help.
The exact reason behind the odd scans I yield to someone with more technical experience. For what it’s worth, I never schedule any scan. I manually start all my scans. Quick scan twice a week. Full scan once a week. I have found a daily scan is overkill since avast has all those wonderful real-time shields.

yeah scheduled scans set to resume the system from sleep mode have never, ever, worked here (W7/64) … I gave up long ago
