scan scheduler

i recently installed latest avast free and scheduled a scan to wake pc and scan…
pc did not awaken and scan did not run…

i did some checking around and found that when i do an update, the time recorded in
the update log is exactly 7 hrs. ahead of computer time…(computer time is correct)

also checked avast.ini file and found scan time was set to 58200 but the scan had
been scheduled for 14.00…

58200 = about 16.17…

tried re-installing but to no avail…

any ideas what is going on???

The log timestamps are in UTC, so it’s correct.
As for the avast5.ini records - the meaning depends on the type of the schedule you used, but I don’t think it’s actually seconds in any of them.

I suppose some hardware support is needed for the wake-up function to work - and maybe it’s not supported here…
