If i run a scan task on local drives will it scan c & D and leave mapped network drives alone?

Is there anywhere in the console that status of tasks running can be viewed?

Should the avast system tray icon spin during the scan task on the client? i have only seen 80% cpu indication of a scan and the ball hasn’t spun.

your help is appriciated

That’s what the session is for. It contains the current status of the scan on each machine (of course, not really real-time because of the POP architecture).

The icon does not spin. We’re considering creating an extra way for the user to see what’s going on.

Anyway, my recommendation would be to avoid scheduled scans during work hours as they can really impose a heavy load on the machines, for considerable time.
