Scannig a particular file or folder.

Is it possible to use Avast to scan a particular file or folder. This question was triggered by my investigation into something called conduit which keeps trying to start a task on my PC (running Windows XP Pro) which
fortunately is intercepted by Winpatrol and so does not get to start. One of the files in the folder called conduit has a property set to prevent its deletion and that property has defied all my attempts to remove it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Regards to all,

Len Gore

Start avast > scan > scan folder.

Or:

Right click a file > scan
