I usually do a boot scan and ive a corrupted archive c:programe listed but it never does anything about the infected files, today i had done another scan by using the ( full system scanning and then after it completed it had many archive infected passwords etc, but it never done anything about the files i tried to put it into the chest but it would not let me.
avast will only remove infected files
infected files detected are given a malware name…does it give a malware name?
if avast just say the file is corrupted, then it is just a scan error report and not a infection so nothing avast will do anything about…it is just telling you it could not scan it and the reason why
and why do you do a boot scan…it is not meant to be used as a regular scanner, only if avast detect something it has problems removing
Yes it does give a name or code number after i scan can i do anything about a corrupted archive ? is it something to worry about or can i up load something else that can get rid of malware files that wont conflict with Avast,
