Hi, is there a way to disable “System Scanner” to scan all the files when windows starts? Mine scans almost 1000 files and it slows down the process of the system being ready significantly.
Thanks for advice.

Not completely, avast is after all only scanning files that are accessed. You may find that reducing the Sensitivity of Standard Shield to Normal (default) and not High.
My firewall was very chatty at boot time and I regularly had 800 files scanned, change to normal, down to 250-300. A later firewall update introduced an anti-spyware plug-in that took it to 1500 plus if I had Standard Shield on High. I have disabled this firewall plug-in.
Perhaps you have something like this going on also.
Thank you DavidR, I think that was a great advice. I deactivated some plugins in my firewall and the amount of files that were scanned by avast was cut in half. And also the system was ready much quicker!
Thanks again.
Your welcome, a Happy New Year to you.
