scanning out going mail

I want to stop scanning of outgoing msgs.,attachments etc. I have unchecked the "scan outbound msgs. in the scanner section of resident task settings.

There are no check marks in the outbound tab…scanner tab…
The outbound scans are still occurring.

OS. xp pro, mail.oe6, avast, v. 4.5 home addition.

Did you uncheck the options in the right provider? (i.e. in Internet Mail, not Outlook/Exchange - which is for full Outlook)
