scanning question

I am using 4.6.7. When I scan my C drive avast scans 3.1 gigs but there is 10.9 gigs on the hdd. Why doesn’t it scan all the c drive?

How do you select it to scan drive C:?
Did you check to scan archive files as well?

Your question has given me my answere. To answere you I go to “Select the Areas” tick drive C. Quick scan no archives.
