Scans report as cancelled

Recent updates seem to result in Scans apparently failing to complete.

Message box shows scan as x% complete and cancelled. Sometimes 99% today on removable media 76%.
Reports however show same number of files, folders and Mb whether scan incomplete or 100%.

Please (re)search before posting.

It has already been told many times that it is a bug.
The shown percentage is wrong, the scan does finish.

Any idea when this. Bug will be fixed? Do Delores even read these comments? Six weeks is a long time.

Did research before posting but the search did not pick up this issue. Possibly wording in search box “99% cancelled” was not close enough.
Do not assume research was not carried out.
