I have Avast Free Anti virus scheduled to do a full scan weekly but it never starts automatically. I also have a custom scan scheduled weekly but this scan does not start either. Using latest Avast version on a Windows 10 64 bit PC, latest version. Please help. Thanks.
Perform a repair of avast and check if the problem is solved.
If not perform a clean installation of the latest avast version.
And do not use fastboot in Windows 10.
Why are you running so many scans ? Once you know your system is clean, Avast bey default checks anything new added or changed or used in any way.
It really isn’t necessary to run weekly scans unless you enjoy watching all those files fly by.
