Scheduled scans don't run

I’ve scheduled custom (deep) scans once a week on two different computers. The designated time comes and goes; the scan doesn’t happen. I reschedule it for a few minutes later, and THEN the scan begins on its own. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions?

P.S. I’m running v. 22.1 on Windows 10 machines.

  • Which Avast…? (Free/Premium/One)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Avast One (unpaid version).
No other third-party internet security software installed.
Previously just used built-in Windows protection.

That forum attracts relatively few visitors and, in my experience, not much in the way of help for problems. (The pinned post about the latest version of the software hasn’t even been updated to reflect the version made available in early February.) That’s why I thought I’d try my luck here.

Anyway, I’d appreciate hearing from anyone else who may have experienced this problem.
