screen saver scan

hi all when my normal xp screen saver is on i can hear avast doing something is it scanning? can u stop that? and just manual scan when u like … thanks :wink:

think i found it you click on avast screensaver settings customise untick it right???
that apply for all screensavers too not just avast ? i have time to scan so dont need it on thanks

If you remove the ‘avast screen saver module’ you won’t have your system scanned while the screen saver is on.
If you don’t need it, no problem.
avast does not scan in background if you use another screen saver.
