As you can see, from time to time, the avast screen saver module never ends…
I can write a Word document, I can open any other program… life goes on and the screen saver task is there ??? :
Only killing by Task Manager we can get rid from it.
It does not ‘stop’ in one file, it continues scanning even when the screen saver disappeared.
Isn’t the sensibility to mouse and keyboard of that module changed in last update?
I don’t think there were any changes to the screensaver-related modules in the past months.
Does the problem happen with any screensaver, or just a specific one? Any special way you stopped the screensaver, or just a simple mouse move?
Yeah… It’s intermitent… sometimes it works, sometimes not.

But, like I wrote, I can do everything and the module is opened.
No, I meant the way you interrupted the real screensaver. These two (avast screensaver, and the real one) are somehow “linked” - when the real screensaver receives the command to close, avast! closes as well. So, I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to close the “real” screensaver, without the avast! screensaver noticing.
Igor I’m thinking about something… why those screensaver things are that complicated after all ? Avast! screensaver is one screensaver that opens another screensaver and they somehow work “together”… too many things and it should be such a simple tasks. What I wonder is…
Why not make one default avast! screensaver that will do exactly the same thing (checking on files) and use it’s own internal screensaver theme ? I also gave few examples in here:

Oh, for my taste, the own screensaver could allow other settings.
For instance:
- Only a banner fixed at the bottom of the screen and the scanning file running from there.
- Possibility of changing the letter and the background colors.
- Slideshow with the possibility of adding photos would be great.
