The ScreenSaver scanner is not smart !
Each times it starts scanning from the top of the folder tree.
This means in my case that the first 1/3 of my disk are
scanned 10 times a day and the last 2/3 are never scanned unless
I do it manually.
The ScreenSaver scanner should start from where it stopped
during its previous run.
Loop is checked ! It’s even the default setting. And probably the scan does restarts from the beginning when reaching the end of the disk. But this is not my point. The screen saver restarts ALWAYS from the beginning even if it did not reach the end before exiting. Apparently it does not record the point that it reached when exiting.
May be Avast saves the last scanned folder
But the screen saver does not use the information.
Just try it. Launch it and leave it alone while it scans a few folders
at the beginning of the folder tree. Then stop it and launch it again.
You will notice that it starts again from the very beginning.
I’m sure this is not the behavior expeced by the developers.
