Script Blocker comes up whenever I run IE

Hi,

I have Avast Pro (Demo) Version on my system running on Windows XP SP2.

Initially, there was a malware in my system which redirected IE to www.free-virusscan.com. Then, I used MABM to get rid of it. Now, even though I don’t see the problem any more, whenever I start IE, the script blocker flashes on the screen. Does this mean that I still have some problem with my computer and it is still not clean?

Please help!

Regards,
Gowri

The splash screen is there just to inform you that the Script Blocker is active in the browser (i.e. it doesn’t announce anything malicious).
You can disable the splash in Script Blocker configuration (Advanced / Show splash window on startup).

Thank you so much for the information.
