Script blocker should not block but scan the scripts…
Which is your browser?
Do you use any other script application (like AnalogX Script Blocker)?

hi there no i do not run any other script application i just run avast pro 4. the browser i use is internet explorer 6.

Does it help if you pause the Script Blocker, instead of stopping it?
Does it affect all the web pages, or only some of them?

hi there i have just tryed pauseing the Script Blocker all web pages load. if i have the script blocker on it affects all the web pages i can not view the web pages can not see what is going on i have scan my computer no virus are found. ???

Strange… I don’t see any way how Script Blocker could cause this. Just to be certain… are you 100% sure that it’s the Script Blocker provider, right? (and not Web Shield, which would be much more understandable)

hi yes i’am 100% sure that it’s the Script Blocker. if i keep the Script Blocker on all web pages can not be view. if i stop or pause the Script Blocker all web pages can be view if it was the Web Shield all page would still not be view if the Script Blocker was stop or pause. ???

That’s pretty strange. The Script Blocker influences only scripting. It can enevtually prevent loading of some page that contains a script, but it can hardly influences ALL pages.
The problem is probably caused by collision of the Script Blocker and some other component, that is loaded into your IE. What addons to IE do you use? (Google Toolbar etc.)

Other things to check:

  1. Do your TEMP and TMP environment variables point to a valid place? You can test it typing this in command.com
cd %TEMP%
cd %TMP%
  1. Try to create and delete a file in the directory TMP and TEMP points to.

If your’re not sure, how to check these things, ask please.

just installed avast pro 4.7 and the script blocking works i can veiw all web sites with script blocking turned on so keep it going 4.7 pro lookes good and i can say it works thanks  8)
