Hello,

recently my Avast keeps popping up saying “Threat secured” from archive(dot)org saying its a dangerous webpage. I rarely visit that website and i didnt download anything from it (as far as i know, its a trusted website anyway). Im 99% sure its not a trojan or something but it’s just genuinely annoying and i want to fix it. Can anyone help me?

btw: 2 pop ups appear, one for archive(dot)org and one for ia902307(dot)us(dot)archive(dot)org

The site seems okay now (no alerts). Update Avast virus definitions and try again.

They are up to date but still popping up. Funny how after i turned on my pc it didn’t pop up until i went into avast to check for updates. Here are the detection details:

It appears that archive.org is aware of the problem now. If I go to archive.org I simply get a normal page. If I go to https://archive.org/download/LoganPaulViogs/format=Thumbnail, I get an error page in Firefox or Opera GX. No alert from Avast in either case. Clean out your cookies and caches in case there are any leftovers.

Did that, still pops up.
