I just installed a free software program, ScripTrap, to trap/review script before it can be installed on my computer: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/scriptrap.html …In this program I have an option of using my antivirus to scan a script that has been blocked, but I need to load a path to Avast. When I opened Avast program files, there are many .exe programs in there, and I’m not sure which one to load as the path to have Avast screen a script that has been blocked by ScripTrap. Would appreciate any help in this matter. I’m doing this because I just read that Avast (free Home version) no longer screens/reviews script…Thanks…Jim

Thanks, Tech…I got it loaded in ScripTrap…Now I hope it all works!..As a side note, any thought as to why this (script blocking) feature isn’t included in the Home Edition of Avast? I can only presume there has to be additional features in the Pro Version - otherwise why spend the money? No complaint, just an observation. I’m deeply appreciative of what we all get in the free Home Edition of Avast. It is a tremendous AV program, and many thanks to Alwil Software for making it available. And, additional kudos to this forum, and people that help - like you…Jim
Because the Pro needs to add something upon the free one… don’t you think so?
To spent the money? Well, to help development and allow the ones without money to have a free antivirus, and to have the Pro features (scheduling for instance).
But I admit, the best competitor of avast! Professional version is avast! Home version 8)
