Found Search Protector by Spigot, Inc. in my CCcleaner programs, didnt install (or at least didnt intend to).
Currently running MBAM after I saw it recommended here (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=63642.0)
Will post results when completed.
Also just noticed that AVAST seems to be having trouble updating, not sure if related. (Version 7.0.1497 currently).
What should I do? Just run installer? Everyone through Google seems to think its a Trojan of some kind.
Please Help.

Hi,
When you finish with MBAM scan, run DDS.
Please download DDS and save it to your Desktop from here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/dds/dl/104/
Double click dds to run the tool.
- When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
1. DDS.txt
2. Attach.txt
Save both reports to your desktop. DDS.txt and Attach.txt attach back to topic.
Thanks, after MBAM had finished running and It removed all issues I uninstalled the Search Protection without issue.
These are the logs.
Thanks
Nothing was removed what malwarebytes found, now you’ve got to do all over again.
Re-run Malwarebytes.
[*]If an update is found, download and install the latest database/version.
[*]Once the program has loaded, select “Perform Quick Scan”, then click Scan.
[*]When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
[*]Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
[*]When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
[*]Please save the log to a location you will remember ( desktop for example ).
[]The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
[]Copy and paste the entire report in your next reply.
