This is nothing to be alarmed about.
The bankers who write malicious programs will always discover weaknesses in any piece of software.
I feel comfortable that the competent Avast developers, underpinned by their army of loyal forum experts, are across this problem and working feverishly on a solution.

No problem on my XP Pro system.
It does not know about avast! V5 on my Windows 7 system.
There has been another topic on this already and as nmb mentions a program update is imminent, likely to be this week.
Edit: Interestingly Secunia doesn’t even find avast 4.81356 on my system ;D

Secunia doesn’t even work on my Vista SP2, it takes more than an hour to complete an exam… when it should be 15 minutes :S
P/S: They say that they’re not incompatible with the combination avast!+Comodo Defense+. I disagree =)
