I recently updated to the newest program version on Avast Internet Security. I updated directly from the Avast engine update. I made no changes to the existing version.
Until today all was going well. Now, it tells (the main Avast green box) that my network is not able to be secured. What??
So, I did a Home Network scan for my pc and router and it told me everything was secure.
Please forgive my computer illiteracy. Actually, I have the beginning stages of dementia and often can’t remember the sames of things.
Could someone please help me out here? Thanks

Not sure of what you are asking. I have a feeling the main GUI screen is showing “you are not protected”.
- Try rebooting your computer.
- If that fails try a repair…Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a Program>double click “avast”>click “repair”>reboot.
