"Secure Line has encountered a technical issue."

Hi, Secure Line VPN - has suddenly stopped working today - all I get is the message “Secure Line has encountered a technical issue.”. This happens as soon as I try to open Avast VPN up.

Any help?

Ha, I’ve been trying for the last hour to connect - re-booting etc. Now it’s just started working again - just like that… must be magic… but I’m relieved that it wasn’t something to do with my computer. It would be nice if the error message could mention if it has something to do with the users end - or Avasts end… if you see what I mean…

When using any VPN service, it is not uncommon to experience periodic Server Issues which interrupts functionality. :slight_smile:

Today (since ~ 4pm) Avast Secure Line has stopped working on several occasions and gives the “Secure Line has encountered a technical issue” message.

Following up on this I find that free Antivirus is also stopping repeatedly. Restarting or rebooting fixes the problem for a few minutes then it fails again.

Antivirus Program Version 10.4.2233 is a old(er) version.
