Secureline no internet connection?

Using Avast IS,and i just checked this option out and it informs me there is no
internet connection.How come?Internet is working fine.

Which was your previous firewall? Any other program that could be interfering? Old antivirus before avast?

Previous firewall was Avast i also have Windows firewall.Here’s a screenshot of the
Avast alert.

  • Other security related software installed…??
  • Which AV did you use before avast!..??

Avast IS8 version 8.0.1488
Windows home premium 64bit sp1
Malwarebytes pro
always had Avast

  1. Download avast! Internet Security: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

Well, if there is no incompatible software I can bet in one thing:
The previous SecureLine was not working in some systems. Follow Asyn’s instructions.

Followed Asyn’s instructions and it’s still the same,secureline says no internet connection.

See if it works when you turn off the Windows FW.

Turned off Windows FW,and it makes no difference.

Even more LOLs when you realize that they usually release program upgrades on Thursday, just before the weekends…

5 days,still no reply from Avast support from what i’ve read you
can lose the will to live waiting for a reply from Avast support.
