Secureline no longer connects since Android OS was updated to version 5.1

About 1 week ago Android OS was updated on my tablet to version 5.1 and now Secureline no longer connects. It connects for about 1 second, and a window pops up saying it has connected, then disconnects, and starts to connect again and never succeeds. Checking my IP address in a browser confirms that the VPN is not connected.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled the app, but no change.

And for some time, I have not been able to choose a server. Defaults to “Optimal Location”.

Are you aware of these problems? Is anyone trying to fix them?

"I am very sorry but Avast Secureline is not compatible with Android version 5.1 at the moment. Our development team is now working on a solution for this issue.
