Hi, I have same problem after updating today on my Asus tablet. I have tried uninstalling app and reinstalling it but it just says unable to connect, check internet connection, error 2.1. On the app page before installing it says that this app may not be optimised for your device. Have complained to Avast but they are pretty useless I find in replying to queries, sometimes they take days to reply too. Sorry I can’t help. Pretty frustrating when you have paid for a service and then can’t get it. The vpn was fine before this update.

Some network problems are preventing SecureLine from connecting. Check your network status and try again in a while or use another network provider.
Avast VPN prompts me when my Samsung S6 Edge Plus automatically connects to public Wi-Fi in social clubs. When I give it the ‘go ahead’ to connect, it attempts to connect but can’t. It works when I’m on my 4G network, but not on public Wi-Fi, which is the very time I want it to work!
It used to work, but something has changed and it’s no longer useful. And I just renewed my Avast VPN subscription. Waste of money.

Im experiencing everything you all say. I get multiple error codes. My wifi now turns itself off whenever it wants. Here’s a good one avast informs me im not connected to a network and “the server” is down try again another time. ((As I’m streaming play music)) soooooo, I paid for annual not only this poor service but avg as well thinking this is a better bet… nope. —aaaaaaand opt in for att mobile security crap. Huge let down! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

Please, with your report, always inform us the following information: Which OS/Platform, error message, if checked the license and which SecureLine (builtin or standalone).
