I’m running SecureLine VPN on Win10. I have for years.
Today, I got a message from Chrome saying that ‘this extension was turned off as it’s no longer supported’. It was referring to the SecureLine VPN browser extension, which - actually - I don’t remember ever installing.
So I’m a bit confused.
Does the VPN app require to be installed on each browser as well as running in Windows (it’s there in the tray)?
And if so, what’s happened to give that message in Chrome?
And if not, what’s prompted that message now, after what must be at least two years of the extension running in Chrome, necessarily or otherwise?
