SecureLine VPN License

Seems there is a NEW Release that addresses this issue.
Check it out: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=168189.new#new

Thank you Avast.
Just wanted to confirm the new program update does indeed fix the licence issue and everything is working as it should.
One happy customer

I also ran a program update this morning. It ran through several scripts and then prompted me to restart the computer. Upon restart, I was able to successfully insert my VPN license so that it now appears “active”.

Maybe engineering turned the helpdesk staff into bad moods for a short period of time. Or maybe they outsourced their helpdesk. Whatever the case, I hope this was a hiccup of what I’ve come to expect from Avast as it relates to customer service and product experience.

Nice to see all is working as you expect.

I had the same issue upgrading from the trial version, until I did exactly what it states. “Save to Desktop and double click”. Trying to open from Downloads folder was preventing it from working for some reason.

Welcome to the forum.

I suggest that you start your own topic and explain your problem in the proper forum.:

Posting in an old thread is never a good idea.

I bought a new licence because my first one will expire in 2 weeks. I got a .txt file with a mail afterwards. Can anyone tell me where I have to put this now? I have no idea how to activate it.

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you
Thank you but I don’t have that button. :frowning:
Do you have any other ideas?

Wait for the button to appear. You’ll notice I had 5 days remaining when I made this video.
