SecureLine VPN shows “Excessive usage” (3 devices used, limit 1) - all devices removed

Hello,

I’m having an issue with my Avast SecureLine VPN subscription.

My account shows:
“Excessive usage – 3 devices used out of 1”
but in reality I am using SecureLine on only one Windows PC.

What I’ve already done:

  • Logged out of SecureLine on all devices
  • Uninstalled SecureLine from all computers
  • Reinstalled Windows on the current PC
  • Confirmed no other devices are using my account

Despite this, the issue remains.

It looks like old device IDs are still attached to my license on Avast’s side.
I’ve already contacted support via online chat, and they said the case was escalated to the “advanced support team”, but I’m still waiting.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Is there any way to manually reset or remove all devices linked to a SecureLine VPN subscription?

Subscription expiry: 21 May 2026

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.

same problem No solution yet . Waiting Avast solution .Cross fingers

Same problem here

Same problem, still. And I’ve done the same things. I also seem to have old IDs. This is getting to be… too much. Support is answering, but not really giving any answers. How is it possible to have this problem for so long. Kind of reminds me of the Sonos catastophe when they changed application. Considering leaving Avast.

In the past i remember i used to Delete all my devices, and reinserted the keys everything worked fine.

The past 2 years i can’t do that anymore. Avast Removed it!!!
