Please help me, ive just installed avast and everything but a message is popping up from security center saying:‘’ you have no antivirus program ‘’
i have vista btw
please someone help me!!!
Which antivirus did you have before avast? How did you uninstall it?
I had avast 4
now avast 5
And yeah, i never ''uninstalled it ‘’
i just downloaded avast 5 and the avast 4 got removed automaticlly
I suggest an installation from scratch:
- Download the latest version of avast! Uninstall Utility and save it.
- Download the latest avast! version and save it.
- Uninstall avast from Control Panel (if possible). If, for any reason, you can’t run it, try booting in Safe Mode and doing it from there. Anyway, boot after that.
- Run the avast! Uninstall Utility saved on 1. If, for any reason, you can’t run it, try booting in Safe Mode and doing it from there. Anyway, boot after you’ve run it.
- Install avast! using the setup saved on 2. Boot.
- Register your free copy or add the license key for Pro.
- Check and post the results.

Crack that can be a rootkit then… Not sure but if you got a cracked avast! you got alot possibility…
I recommand you to dont use any cracks also for an anti virus cyber criminals mostly (if im not wrong) hit this for trap the peoples.

There’s a free version for a reason…
So you get a cracked version of avast! from wherever, and then want help when it doesn’t work?
It is not my place to judge/comment…so all I will say is that there is little chance of help in that situation…
Anyway, the initial answer is simple, get the free version directly from avast! - It has most of the features of the paid versions anyway…

well in the read me file it said i cant update the program or ill be busted or something, whats the point of having it??
So now you just resolved your self the problem. I think now if the user was intelligent he did put a virus in the installer so maybe a malwarebytes scan and maybe uninstall the current avast! crack you did with windows uninstall and the remove tools also install the 30 days of the suite if you buy it otherwise the free version will help…

Well if you are paranoid and know that avast! offer you a free product instead you get a cracked one why dont you did get the free then ?
We dont force u to buy the suite but at least they try to protect u and you get a cracked product that dont help…
when a torrent is up u cant just change it :S

I don’t think that’s the case if he/she is a spammed user with a spammed download that got hosted on spamming sites.
