How do I get to SECURITY SETTINGS with new update? The Firefox plugin does not allow for changing settings.
It appears that the firefox plugin for security settings does not allow for any settings changes other than enable and disable. It seems that Google Chrome allows for security setting changes but not firefox. Can changes to security settings be made directly through Avast without installing Chrome?
No, changes can only be made through the browser. The “avast online security” doesn’t seem to work
as well as it should. It is for this reason I don’t have it installed. The AOS has little to do with security,
the web shield does. You can safely disable the AOS in each of your browsers.
