SECURITY WARNINGS & Notices - Please post them here

You’re welcome.

I have noticed a similar issue, relating to 3 posts - though not directly related to your issue - I wonder if it might have a similar effect.

If I reply in a topic to the same person for a third time (even if it were days or hours apart), it suggests that I might consider using a Personal Message. Which in the context of a support forum isn’t a great idea as the answer may well help others. So I just ignore it, but it allows the post.

However, yours differs in that for the most part it would look like you are making multiple consecutive posts in the one topic.

It’s the same Main Topic but different subtopics related to the main theme. Which is why I don’t understand the three post rule. I could post each item as a separate post but IMHO, that would clutter the forum.

Unfortunately the Forum Software doesn’t differentiate between the two - To do that I guess it would need to have its own sub-community group, not just a topic in the General sub-forum.

Even then I suspect that would be the same, unless each post was an individual topic (which would detract with collective individual posts) within the General > Security > security related new topic.

How did we ever manage on the old forum software
