Secure web bloking youtube videos. Any body else?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
What browser are you using ?
Firefox is my default browser.
By blocking, do you mean alerting or error messages on the YouTube site ?
If so a screenshot of the Avast Alert or the onscreen error message might help.
I have just been watching a lot of YouTube shorts and some clips and no issues.
I use the Chrome browser. The problem is that YouTube videos stop playing and the connection drops. No error messages are displayed. When I disconnect Web Guardian, everything works correctly again.
I don’t use Chrome (never really liked it), so I can’t test.
Have you recently installed any new Add-ons (around the time you experienced this problem) in Chrome ?
You could try disabling add-ons, clearing your browser cache and see if that makes a difference.
