Alright, so I love playing the Sims 2. Do I ever love it. But oddly enough, I can’t. I don’t know why. Its like, when I go to play, something is blocking it. Ya know? I did have Kaspersky Anti-Virus, before getting avast! But you seeKaspersky let me play the game. And now that I have installed the free version of avast! I can’t play :frowning: So is avast! blocking the game play because of SecROM? And should I just say screw it to playing the Sims 2? Because if I have too, I think I will be really sad.

Please tell me that avast! is NOT stopping me play my game :frowning: Thank you.

  • Which OS? (32/64 Bit - which SP)
  • Which avast-version? (Free, Pro, Internet Security)
  • Other security related software installed?

How did you uninstalled Kaspersky?
