Hi, I am selling my computer and I would like to know if it is fine to include a Avast! Free Edition with a new Windows installation.

Hi pinno,

It is fine. But, you have to make sure two things:

  1. It will used in a home environment. The free version cannot be used in any kind of work environments including non-profit organizations, schools etc.
  2. Do not use your email id to register the product, you can guide the user to register it using his email id.
