Can I send false positive alerts to the same mail address which we use to report suspicious files (virus@avast.com)

But you have to mention that is a False-Positive.

Or - Contact avast http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles If you are reporting an FP, then you get another input filed open, click Browse button and navigate to the file you wish to submit.
