Serious trouble with Edge and Win10...

Hello,

This is my problem : since this morning, when i type something that begins with “avast” in the Cortana bar, the word that follows “avast” will be deleted, but the first letter of this word will still be in the search bar.

Example : if i type “avast cookies”, Cortana will search for “avast c”.
if i type “avast web forum”, Cortana will search for “avast w”.

Does this problem already happened to someone ???. I have recently made a smart scan with Malwarebytes & Avast and they both found nothing.

Looks more like a problem with Cortana then anything else.
But if you want a malware check, follow the instructions in the sticky at the top of this forum.

Thanks a lot for this reply, but :
can a malware affect Cortana ? I’m using Edge, because i got serious problems with Chrome about two months ago.

Thanks a lot for sending me this link, but : what is this ? As i see “IP” and “Block”, is this a tool for blocking virus/malware IPs ?
