What makes you think that you have the right to discard all the contents of my clipboard on my device, WITHOUT ASKING, when I click a notice about “dangerous content on the clipboard”, just because someone MAY HAVE access to it? Seriously, this is a major WTF!
I never gave you permission, neither do you ask, just just go ahead doing it…
I placed all the content there for a very good reason, and you just destroyed hours of work without even asking if it was ok to delete it!!!
This, in my opinion, classifies AVAST as a threat to my data. What are you going to do about it!!?
I’m in my full right to ask, as you are the ones going about destroying data, just because you think it may be “risky”. There were no content there, other than texts and screenshots, none dangerous, yet, you decide to wipe it all, even without asking. Just wipe it all…
I placed all the content there.
I consider this being a seriously malicious action from an application that Is supposed to protect our data, not randomly wipe it, and this places you in the group of Malware.
What is your excuse for this, as I seriously struggle to find a single one that is justifiable?
I made a screen swipe and placed a screenshot in the clipboard, and up comes this warning saying that there may be harmful content kn the clipboard, and you just go to destroy it all, without question.
Same nonsense with the repeated alerts about “unsafe routers”… I scanned the traffic from the device, and there … is none. You say you scan for 30 seconds to deem it “safe”, yet, you check nothing. Not a single packet leaves the device. Not a single check is being performed, yet, you keep nagging me for junk notifications all the time. What is this? A joke?
This begs the question if you are doing any checks at all, really…
And this, especially as I had things come through, that I know for a fact being viruses and Malware, yet not being picked up on, never mind all the false reports, including Avast screaming blue murder for my own code, that in fact does not contain any viruses or otherwise.
I’ll certainly be looking at alternatives now , and so will the company that I am working for, as I am in a position to put recommendations or a ban on products to be used.
Look forward to hearing your excuse…
