Service on the rocks

I have used avast for a few years and have always been happy, but since the new version was introduced I have had problems with the software on Windows 8 coupled with appallingly slow response times to tickets. My last ticket was submitted 7 days ago and I explained that I was having to uniinstall the programme until it was fixed as I could not access my email at all. 7 days is an unbelievable delay for something raised as an urgent ticket! I was previously so satisfied that last year I paid for two years but have now requested they refund all or part of this as I can no longer trust their service. What a shame - they had a perfectly good product and then “messed it up” >:(
