I have Avast on my computer, but a few days ago, it just slowed to a stop. Task search shows 100% of the cpu used by services.exe. I googled for some ideas, but they all involve getting access to computer functions. However, 100% of the cpu means that nothing happens at all. I can’t even see what service pack I have. Any ideas?
