You mean, “why does avast create a new session for each task you run”? Well, it’s by design… I don’t think there is a way to disable this – in fact, this is how it works. The session holds the results - and a scan without results really doesn’t make any sense, does it?
(For starters: we’re talking about the Enhanced User Interface of avast! 4 Professional here… ;))
Vlk
Enhanced user interface stores sessions in its storage and you can view results of it later. We can discuss it and build in settings to not store sessions and their results permanently. So behaviour of enhanced user interface should be the same as one in version 3.0
thanks
if i run 3 tasks
avast store them in session , and i have everytime to delete them
i would love to know if is possible to let avast delete the sessions after a task or shut down avast
We plan to build-in auto deletion of sessions after some time. Mentioned time period would be selected in program settings.
Seems to be a good feature…
I hope so
